My Endowment in the Denver Temple

Denver Temple

I am really grateful that I get to go serve the Lord by going on a mission.  I have also always wanted to go.  I am just really happy that I blessed with the chance.  I wish to share the truth with everyone.  I wish to let people know what makes me happy and joyful, so they can be happy as well.  The gospel of the Jesus Christ found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is what brings me great joy and is true.

I am super excited to go to the Florida Orlando Mission.  I know the Lord called me there for a reason.  I am supposed to go there for a purpose.  I don’t know what it is yet, but I know it’s important.  I am excited to get to know the people, customs, and culture there.

I was blessed that I was able to receive my endowment.  It was an amazing experience.  I learned a lot.  The spirit in the temple was so strong.  I felt at peace the whole time I was there.  I yearn to go back as soon as I can.  I want to focus on my school work until I am out in two weeks.  I am going to go to the temple again the day after school gets out.  I wish that day would come sooner.

(David was at work - he met up with us later)
Mirth wanted to be in the temple the same time I was so she did baptisms for the dead.

Sisters forever!

After the temple we ate at Olive Garden.

Preparing for Aurora to Come Home to Open Her Mission Letter

Sister Pack's letter came in on Thursday April 17, 2014

Sister Pack left for Arapahoe Community College that morning at 6:15 am.  From college she went to work and then from work she went to Mission Prep Class. She got home around 8:15 pm at night.  She called after one of her classes found out it came in.  Then she had to wait till she got home to open her letter.

In the meantime the family got things ready for her.

John has now joined the fun.

Putting up the sign.

Almost done!

The "You're going on a Mission" sign.

We had Sister Pack's favorite food.....pumpkin pie, guacamole, bean dip, chips and salsa, and a sesame noddle dish.
